Our Story
Built by Players, for Players.
No Panic Pickleball started with a simple idea: pickleball should be fun and welcoming for everyone — no matter your age, skill level, or how many times you've hit the ball into the net.

Origin Story
How It All Started
It started the way most good things do — a few friends, a borrowed set of paddles, and a parking lot that happened to have lines on it. We showed up not knowing the rules, spent half the time laughing, and left already planning the next session.
Word spread fast. Within a few months, what started as a casual weekend meetup had grown into a real community. Players of every background — retirees, parents, college students, competitive athletes — all showing up for the same reason: the joy of the game and the people around it.
Today, No Panic Pickleball is Manassas, VA's home for recreational pickleball. We run regular open play sessions, beginner clinics, social mixers, and competitive tournaments — all with the same spirit we started with. No pressure. No gatekeeping. Just pickleball.
What We're About
Welcoming Everyone
From first-timers to tournament regulars, every player gets the same warm welcome. We believe the best rallies happen when everyone feels at home.
Growing the Game
We run clinics, host open play, and partner with local parks to make pickleball accessible to more people across Manassas and Prince William County.
Building Community
Pickleball is the excuse — community is the point. We're here to connect neighbors, create friendships, and give people a reason to get outside.
The Team
The People Behind It
A small but mighty crew of organizers, coaches, and volunteers who keep the courts running.
Alex Rivera
Founder & Head Organizer
Alex started No Panic Pickleball after falling in love with the game and realizing Manassas needed a club that felt like a community, not a competition.
Jordan Lee
Head Coach
A certified pickleball instructor with a knack for making beginners feel confident on the court from day one.
Morgan Chen
Events Coordinator
Morgan keeps the calendar full and the courts buzzing — from casual mixers to full-scale tournaments.
Where We're Headed
We're growing fast — and we're just getting started. Our goal is to build the most connected recreational pickleball community in Northern Virginia: more courts, more events, more players, and more reasons to show up. Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or you've been playing for years, there's a place for you here.
